First of all, I want to thank the sale girls in the Kaunas store, who were very kind to me and wanted to somehow fix the situation. Only thanks to them I was able to overcome the terrible humiliation that I had to endure from the representative of the Birzhai (Biržai) Linen Factory, who accepts orders in the online store. I could not buy from it, because waiting is too long - first they would send a sample, whether the fabric is suitable, and then the fabric itself. So I wanted to go to the their linen street store in Birzhai and buy right away. However, the representative of the Linen factory tried to tell me that I cannot go from Latvia to Lithuania, because the border is closed. This is complete nonsense, because when I write this review, the border is still open. In addition, the codes of the goods in the street store do not match with the codes of the factory online store, and apparently the shop assistant got something wrong. When I arrived, there was no such fabric. It turned out that there was little bit in the Kaunas store, but it was too far away and still not enough. I stayed in Birzhai overnight, and the next morning I called Birzhai (Biržai) Linen Factory representative again. She started to yell at me again that they have quarantine and do not serve anyone. But all I asked – to show me a piece of fabric to see if the color matches what I need. Then I could order fabric from Riga in the online store and I would not have to wait for a sample to arrive. But no, this opportunity was also denied - because the representative could get infected from me even from a distance of three meters, and even if I wear a face mask. And, of course, I was not even sick. She asked me, how do I know, have I done test? How ridiculous! So I left home empty-handed and and frustrated. Of course, I will not order. Partially because of what I saw - in the street store I saw that this transparent linen fabric shrinks by 1/3 of the width when washed - I realized that I dont really need something like this. But this terrible mockery I will remember all my life.
